Abstract:
This Certified Quality Auditor Refresher training course is presented in three hour sessions in the evening for 10 weeks. It is designed to help experienced auditors become better prepared for the CQA Examination.
Through discussion, review and practice, attendees will become thoroughly familiar with the complete body of knowledge for the exam.

Taking this course does not require you to sit for the next exam. The information can be used to learn the fundamental elements that a Quality Auditor should know and be prepared to implement.
Classroom Approach to the Course
This is an adult centered course for busy professionals. The course is intended to provide review and discussion on the generally accepted Quality Auditing Practices for both internal and external quality auditing applications.
Class discussions include and in-depth overview of the exam process along with the rationales for correct answers. Sample test questions and answers offer participants a better understanding of the basic principles and applications that will appear on the exam. This is achieved through lecture, individual participation, group problem discussion, case studies, role playing, and quizzes to test understanding.
The CQA Primer from the Quality Council of Indiana will be given to each participant, as well as a course binder that will be used as the principle class guide.
Objectives:
· Prepare the attendee to pass the CQA Examination and
- Have a thorough understanding of an audit program and what auditing can and cannot accomplish
- Have the knowledge and understanding of auditing methods and techniques to interpret situations and arrive at the most correct action
- Be able to use the auditing techniques immediately at work
- Understand what constitutes the make-up of a good auditor

- Managers who need to understand the audit function as a management tool and its contribution to a successful audit program
- Experience auditors who may need to reacquaint themselves with the current procedures and processes
